
VAHATRA GRANTS FOR MALAGASY PARTICIPANTS
Vahatra Association is offering grants to specifically support the participation of Malagasy students, professors, and researchers:
- Vahatra Grants for Malagasy graduate students
- Vahatra Grants for Malagasy professors and researchers
ATBC TRAVEL GRANTS
The Organizing Committee of the 56th Annual Meeting of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation is offering a limited number of grants to help cover the costs of attending the ATBC2019 in Antananarivo, Madagascar, on 30 July to 3 August 2019. These grants, only given to ATBC members and with maximum subsidy of $500, is to help increase attendance of participants from developing countries to the annual meeting by providing funds for those in financial need. These grants are REIMBURSEMENT of expenditures in the name of the applicant, which will be conducted at the Antananarivo meeting based on receipts, such as an airplane ticket or hotel costs.
ATBC is committed to advancing diversity in its community; and applicants from all genders and cultures, and other traditionally under-represented groups, are encouraged to apply for these grants.
A separate granting scheme based on a donation from the Evans-Meggers Fund is specifically to support the participation of female scientists that are ATBC members from the South American countries of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela. These grants, also with a maximum subsidy of $500, are REIMBURSEMENT of expenditures in the name of the applicant, which will be conducted at the Antananarivo meeting based on receipts, such as an airplane ticket or hotel costs.
